The FloGrown team is honored to work with the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund in support of R.E.D. Fridays. With our active-duty family members, friends and acquaintances always in our hearts and minds, FloGrown is proud to release our limited-edition RED Friday t-shirt. We’ve pledged to donate 30 percent of all proceeds to the WVRF which will support the wounded Florida veterans who bravely fought for our freedoms.
R.E.D stands for ‘Remember Everyone Deployed’. There are nearly 200,000 active-duty personnel serving abroad in the United States military. Several thousand of these individuals are stationed in areas of turmoil and conflict. R.E.D. Friday was created in 2005 to honor and remember these individuals who at times may feel alone or forgotten. Since then, thousands of men and women around the country have worn red shirts on Fridays to not only support all service members, but to also let our overseas troops know that they are loved, respected and always remembered.
Over the last decade, the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund has aided countless veterans and their family members. This nonprofit organization offers housing, utilities, employment and transportation services to Florida veterans who were injured or disabled during their time in the military. These vital resources provide shelter, security and solace to former active-duty troops throughout the state. To continue saving lives and keeping families together, the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund relies on the kindness and compassion of the Sunshine State’s residents.
