Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) Florida’s “Breweries for Fisheries” combines two, great passions – conserving fish and consuming beer.
From October 9 to 26, fishing and beer-drinking enthusiasts can support local breweries and protect Florida’s marine resources too. The concept is simple, participants will register for $50 and receive a custom, FloGrown T-shirt, custom FloGrown decal, and specialty “Breweries for Fisheries” coin. The coin will then be redeemed for one 32-ounce crowler or two 16-ounce crowlers as designated by the brewery. To encourage increased interest and participation, CCA Florida recommends the crowler be redeemable for in-store and to-go consumption.
“Breweries for Fisheries” is an opportunity for Florida’s breweries to support marine resources while increasing foot traffic and expanding brand awareness in effort to boost sales. Due to the recent health pandemic, many companies and organizations have been required to change their business model to keep afloat during this unpredicting time, and that could not be truer for small businesses and non-profit organizations, like CCA Florida. To help combat the economic strain, “Breweries for Fisheries” is a unique, mutually beneficial event designed to increase revenue for breweries and support fundraising efforts for CCA Florida.
